Identified Layers panel appears after clicking point on map and then switching variables #8

Describe the bug When a user changes the variable they wish to see, before the map loads in, the 'Identified Layers' panel appears.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load CCCS
  2. Click any point of the map
  3. Close the Identified Layers panel
  4. Change variable to any other variable

Expected behavior I expect the map to update with new chosen variable

Actual Identified Layers panel appears. Because I haven't selected anywhere on the map, the Identified Layers panel is always empty
