Double click on taskbar icon should open preferences

When you double click the taskbar icon, nothing happens. I have to right click and choose preferences before I can see preferences window.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

Result Nothing

Expected behaviour Preferences window should appear.
