Restore Hidden Cards feature does not restore cards

Setup

Describe the bug

On home page cards can be hidden
The three dot action 'Restore Hidden Cards' should bring them back (validated in 2.9)
However now does nothing

To Reproduce

Nav to home page
hover over top graphic, top right of graphic press cross (graphic should be removed)
three dot menu in the header --> Restore hidden cards

The issue is extended on both the header page actions, so also the login is not set.

An E2E test is already present, but it should be enabled. It has been like this since we have set E2E, so it may be worth a re-work.

existing e2e test cypress/e2e/tests/pages/generic/home.spec.ts -> Can restore hidden cards is sufficient. moving to done
