This could be part of a larger ticket that would permute through all (or perhaps have 1 vanilla cluster and one that includes all permutations) additional / advanced options of a cluster.

for rke1, this would take more time because the kube-api setting (and likely others) are hard-coded. Related ticket: https://github.com/rancher/rancher/issues/45656
