In the release/0.10.0
branch, I tried using different styles for different types of messages:
Message Type | Example(s) | Formatting |
---|---|---|
Important | Welcome, Host, Poke | green, bold |
Change | Created, Edited, Deleted, Assigned, Moved | blue, normal |
Information | Connected, Disconnected, Switched, Time | grey, normal |
Punishment | Kick, Ban | red, normal |
Error | Insufficient Privileges | red, bold |
I don't know what to do about the difference between "User" and other types of objects though. They are all clickable links and links are supposed to be the same color so you recognize them as such.
On the other hand, the same blue tone is used as "highlight" color in info frames and tooltips which doesn't make much sense as those elements are not links.
Thank you very much, i can't wait to try it out :3
P.S. (it's 8am here i just woke up and have read a few articles on you blog [since you were covering the furaffinity protection, could you also cover the "sadpanda" phenomenon?] :) P.P.S. I wonder if MuhChy requested the theme xD
I just pushed version 0.10.0
which has the new color scheme.
Most events on the chat look pretty much the same so the eye has a hard time to decide wether the thing your looking at is a channel/client. It would be nice to have them with at least some small different blue-tone.
If too many people want it that way i would even accept it as "theme addon" which overrides the themes default
dark_chat.qss
P.S. https://www.myteamspeak.com/addons/45f5a52a-8e98-4a8b-ab69-0753c8d44617 for example has a chat that is way easier to read, tho i understand that red for example doesn't fit the rest of the theme.
