Scan pulse: how do you intend to communicate to the player that its a scan pulse door?
Metroid door: why? For rando purposes, i dont see them being interesting nor very communicative to the player.
Phase drift: For me, this would only feel worth it if you had to use the item. E.g door opens when not near, door closes when near, closing anim slows down with phase drift. Could we maybe reuse some existing object for it and just slap it ontop of the door? Only thing that comes to mind are blobthrowers but iirc they only retract when reloaded.
Spider/Screw/Baby: similar to above, feel like it should be interactive. Might be worth looking into how spider goo / screw blocks / baby blocks operate. Would it be possible to place screw/baby blocks next to the door?
