Port test cases over to open source simEngine #10

Goal of the task:
Automated testing environment was built using Atlassian Bamboo.  Need to port 
test plan over to something that can be executed by the user who downloads the 
source code.

Requested Task Steps:
1. Create a Matlab script that creates one test suite incorporating the entire 
test plan
2. Add a Makefile target to run the Matlab test script
