No Sound through HDMI #81

I have just set this up on a raspberry pi 3B+. Everythings seems to be working apart from the sound refuses to come through the HDMI. I have plugged in headphones and can confirm the sound is using the 3.5mm jack. I have tried entering the audio_out=hdmi under each instance of the C64 as this is the machine I have selected but it still refuses to work.

So, I had it running through two HDMI switches. When it was running raspbian it didn't care but for some reason with this it really didn't like it. I have now connected direct into my Home Thetre amp and the sound is working even when on auto. I guess this is something that not many people would come across so probably doesn't need fixing.
