[Feature Request] MythTV player support #12

Since MythTV is designed for handling and playing back its recorded data,
the MythTV internal player is currently better suited than the XBMC
dvdplayer for playing back MythTV data, particularly in the case of HD
content. 

As the MythTV player can be launched independently of the MythTV frontend,
I would like to see MythBox capable of launching the MythTV player (rather
than remaining within XBMC) once the user selects a channel or recording to
watch.

Please make a case for using the external player for which XBMC is not 
sufficient.

ATSC and QAM MPEG2 720p content on moderate hardware (P4 2.4 ghz, non-VDPAU 
Nvidia
card). MythTV can be configured via playback profiles to play such content 
fluidly.
XBMC skips and studders so badly that it is completely unwatchable.

That said, VDPAU is the "wave of the future" and I have since switched to a 
VDPAU
card and am no longer using MythBox anyway.
