_mysql.so issues #48

I can't start the script because of this error:

18:27:24 T:1138977104 M:1690177536   ERROR: Unable to load 
/home/htpc/.xbmc/scripts/MythBox/resources/lib/MySQLdb/linux64/_mysql.so, 
reason: 
libmysqlclient_r.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or 
directory

I'm using the "stable" mysql 5.0 branch which provides me 
libmysqlclient_r.so.15 (i saw that .16 
comes with mysql 5.1), is it possible to have a build compatible with mysql 5.0?
