Error: Failed to derive URL prefix for Timeline API code files

I copied all source code from examples (also tried the code from working
page) and in all cases my page reported this [subj]error.
As the result timeline is not loading.

I use WinXP+firefox 3.0.3 and also tried on IE7. Tried to run code on local
test server and on remote.

This problem is also reported on this product as a Drupal extension:

I figured out that the problem appears if encoding is set to utf-8. Works well 
in
windows-1251.

Found they because of search and the solution for me was to put the script tag 
in the header instead of the body of the document.
