App Version: 2.0.11 (and previous versions)

Platform: Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.4170

Installation Method: Direct Download

Expected Behavior: In the desktop "Taskbar Settings" menu, choosing "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" and then enabling this for Sleek, Sleek's taskbar icon should become "always visible", and this setting should persist in the future (i.e., for future invocations of the application).

Actual Behavior: After selecting Sleek's icon in "Select which icons appear on the taskbar", Sleek's icon does become always visible in the taskbar. But then upon exiting the Sleek application and restarting it, this setting is no longer applied, and it's necessary to go back into the "Taskbar Settings" menu to select the option again. This is not the behavior I am accustomed to from Windows applications - with other applications, this setting persists, and the application's icon will still be always visible in the taskbar the next time the application is started. I don't know if this is a Sleek issue, or a Windows issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the application.
  2. Right-click on the Windows taskbar, and select "Taskbar Settings".
  3. In the Taskbar Settings UI, click on "Select which icons appear on the taskbar".
  4. Find the entry for "sleek" in the list, and turn on the toggle switch next to "sleek"; the Sleek application icon becomes always visible in the taskbar.
  5. Exit the Sleek application.
  6. Note that the Sleek application icon is no longer always visible in the taskbar.
  7. Navigate back to the "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" screen in the Windows "Taskbar Settings" UI.
  8. Note that the toggle switch next to "sleek" has returned to the "Off" position.
