Development on Ubuntu 12.04 is possible:
* Netbeans 7.1.1
* Postgre 9.1
* Svn 1.6.17
* Openbravo POS 2.30.2
installed without problems. The FairPOS application works with no glitches.

Just wondering if the peripherals will work under Linux...
