I recently installed ubuntu on my chromebook pixel as well as the linux-samus kernel. After a reboot the wifi connection is gone an the display settings are still very small.

Is this a known issue? How does one use an older version of the linux-samus?

Not a known issue, maybe you need new firmware? All the previous versions of the kernel are available as releases. https://github.com/raphael/linux-samus/releases.

I occasionally have issues with wifi when waking from suspend. I run: sudo iw dev wlp1s0 scan to get my connection again. Just make an alias like so: alias wifi_scan='sudo iw dev wlp1s0 scan >/dev/null'

Ive used a previous version and the wifi is still working as expected but the dpi settings and the graphics is still not sorted?

Is there something specific I should be running?

raphael commented 7 years ago

How to set DPI settings depends on what environment you run. It has nothing to do with the kernel. You may find this useful: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI .

With the default unity environment, go into appearance and change your scaling to 1.5/2 or better.
