migration to old.ocean.pangeo.io #12

we're moving the ocean.pangeo.io cluster to a new deployment. The current cluster is now moved to old.ocean.pangeo.io. We're gonna try to migrate the home directories as well but you may want to save your work.

Is anyone still using old.ocean.pangeo.io?

Or has everyone migrated to the new ocean.pangeo.io? (I have confirmed with @chiara7 that she has transferred over.)

If so, I would like to turn of old.ocean.pangeo.io asap.

What is the procedure to move over the new ocean.pangeo.io ? I have only one notebook on the old.ocean.pangeo.io that I have already saved.

If you have just one notebook and it's already saved, then you should be fine. Just go to https://ocean.pangeo.io and start computing.

The biggest difference to users is that you sign in with ORCID rather than github.

The old cluster will be shut down today. All user data stored there will be gone permanently.
