Redshift has the ability to execute scripts when transitioning between states (see manpage), which are very useful for triggering extra functionality, e.g. backlight dimming on external monitors.
With QRedshift, the scripts don't appear to work, or be executed at all as far as I can tell.
I really like the UI and ease of configuration with QRedshift over redshift-gtk, but not having hook scripts is a bit of a deal-breaker. Is there a reason why they don't run?
