Hi, this is the way I intend it to look: The two areas (top and bottom) should be 50:50 in height.

It's because I want the bottom area to be all the way on the bottom and mostly out of the way of the note itself.

You can replace this line https://github.com/raphwriter/trilium-theme-melon/blob/9bacd1ddaab17d5f805c562dcabe407ad770387d/melon-theme-4.css#L1112 with flex-grow: 1; or flex-grow: 2; (or 3, 4,...) to change this behaviour
