Checkout a Github/Python/Data Science 101 Syllabus

Do you want to add content to a technical team, and want a course to get familiar with the technology? Do you want to teach a data science tutorial at an online event but you aren't quite ready? This is a great opportunities to get more perspectives on computing tools, find more data science tools, and experience a different curriculum that you can adapt/adopt in your future work.

The Carpentries is a non-profit volunteer organization whose members teach researchers how to use computing tools and tools for management, analysis and visualization of data.

The eScience Institute is holding a Software Carpentry workshop on October 5-8 (9 AM - noon each day) entirely online. The workshop focuses on software tools to make researchers more effective, allowing them to automate research tasks, automatically track their research over time, and use programming in Python to accelerate their research and make it more reproducible.

For details and to register for our upcoming workshop, please refer to the following webpage:https://uwescience.github.io/2020-10-05-uw-online/.

Please feel free to distribute this message widely among your colleagues and to email me at janekoh1@uw.edu or Noah Benson nben@uw.edu with any questions about the workshop.
