in this experience the challenge is to find the best local optimum with an Evolutionary Strategy.
The fitness function has lots of local optimum and with increasing problem instance it's tricky to find the best local optimum and really hard to find the global optimum.
Talking about your solution, the Genetic Algorithm, good job evaluating individuals of the population not only on fitness but also with hamming distance and entropy, encouraging diversity in the population.
