Fyi there is already a Umbraco.MarkdownEditor in the Umbraco 7 core, so this is just duplicating functionality/fragmenting users. The version in Umbraco uses https://www.nuget.org/packages/MarkdownSharp/ witch has the same syntax. It looks like there may be some umbraco integrations in this packages, but those could presumably be added to the existing Umbraco.MarkdownEditor

Hi @pynej, that a very good question. Well first I did not like the current markdown Editor that comes with Umbraco, it is not easy to extend. Secondly I wanted to use the CodeMirror for editing markdown.

And your are definitely right, that all this could potentially be added or pulled into the current markdown Editor.

But, all this not going to happen for this package since I found a huge bug that blocks or breaks CodeMirror on the same or other pages, so this package will be discontinued when my new and improved version comes out. The new version, is not just a markdown Editor but has the ability to be one.
