2 months ago The dark appearance is used by these elements because the color scheme is not set. I am currently uploading the build to apple and I hope it gets approved as soon as possible.
What animation would you like to disable, the expansion or only the background?

The animation I’d like to disable is the background, if possible.
As an aside, I have no problem at all staying on the Testflight and helping you debug and test the app.

hi there! Adding 2 screenshots here, 1 in dark mode, one in light mode. iOS 18. Latest update was yesterday and the text issue still appears.

Thanks! Just keep the TestFlight notifications enabled so that you will be notified when a new build becomes available 👍

Can you check if you are running on version 1.5.3 (Open the account sheet and scroll to the bottom)?
The new "Now Playing" animation (as pretty as it is) has the unfortunate side effect of making some text and icons unreadable:
As an aside, it would be great to have the option to disable it (I find it distracting). Having a static blurred background based on colors from the currently-playing album art could be an alternative.
