Mouse freezes when using USB Audio input (headset microphone) on RPi4. #5201

Describe the bug

Currently using a Razer USB Audio Enhancer to use a headset with my RPi4 (which is currently running Ubuntu MATE 22.04 LTS). And, whenever anything requests audio from the microphone (speaker output is fine), my mouse freezes entirely. Keyboard still works, and so does the actual microphone audio input, but the mouse becomes useless until whatever is using the input is done what it is doing.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Use a Razer USB Audio Enhancer or similar USB headset amp. Run the "sound" control panel, and click "Input" set the input to the microphone, and all mouse input will hang, until you use the keyboard to close the control panel.

I'm also seeing this issue on the latest version of Raspian.
