Not sure how bash is relevant here, as it shouldn't have anything to do with URL handling. If your terminal is including the parentheses in the URL, that's an issue with the terminal's URL parsing/detection. It's worth noting, however, that parentheses are valid in URLs, so it might be a good idea to remove them here. Most programs ignore a )
that comes at the end of a URL as it's very rarely part of the URL, though.
