SMSDroid crashes on startup #709

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start SMSDroid on tablet

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the program instantly crashes offering me to send a bug report...

What version of the product are you using? "Last" is not appropriate. Make
sure you tell at least which app you are using. On what operating system?
Android v4.0.3 (Tablet - Acer Iconia A510)
SMSDroid v1.3.1

please provide logs from that crash and point me to this issue in the mail.

please test this build.

please note, that you will never get smsdroid working correctly because it's 
relying on the mms database provided by android. in your case, it's not 
provided. but it should not FC as before.

no worries, thanks again for the quick reply.
now smsdroid installs and starts fine. i can't really use it as i intended 
because it doesn't pick up the messages i send via websms but still, thanks 
again for the quick fix.
