Instead of trying to target a wide range of NodeJS version, I wish to only target the latest LTS and more recent versions. Especially since there are no automated tests, the support of various older versions seems unreasonable.

Require NodeJS version >= 6.14
Use Buffer.alloc() instead of new Buffer(). Fixes #42
