7 years ago There was a little bit of discussion of this in-person on Friday that I think resulted in the following decision:
- Display
Nameagain - Keep the creation date visible
- When a user creates a project with imports:
- if there is a single import, the created scene name should equal the project name
- if there are multiple imports they should follow the format of
<project name> - <sequence>
A user pointed out that it can be hard to find the right uploaded projects when trying to add multiple to a project--while our naming convention (source + date of acquisition) makes sense for satellites (Landsat, Sentinel, etc.) it doesn't make sense for custom uploads that are most recognizable by their name, not their date of upload.
