'Use Joypad as joystick' fire button is mapped to A #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Wiimote configuration, wiimote 2
2. Choose 'Use Joypad as joystick' = On
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected '2' to be fire when holding the Wiimote horizontally but it is in
fact A, so controls are all bunched towards left hand side of the controller

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v2, Wii

Please provide any additional information below.
A great option though, and I can map '2' to be fire myself

You can configure other buttons (e.g. button 2) to fire and then save the
configuration. You should use the Joystick configuration menu.

To think I just came here to submit this very same issue.

For this to be properly configurable, I'd split the "Use Joypad as joystick"
option into "Use Joypad and Fire as joystick" and "Map Fire button to".

"Use Joypad as joystick" does not affect the fire button. It affects only the
up, down, left and right movements.

You can already map fire button to any wiimote or classic controll button using
"binding key to ..." and chosing "fire" in the virtual keyboard.

Is your suggestion for making the configuration more clear?

Oh, I was assuming the fire button's position couldn't be changed currently, so
I was just suggesting an option for binding a key to it.

I hadn't noticed that "Fire" was present in the virtual keyboard, sorry.
