This branch is used to add webpack to the system, used for e.g. compiling sass and js files with babel.

There remains one final glitch with the font-awesome setup. Setting a custom path allows for using a separate font folder, but does not result in extracting the actual fonts from font-awesome. Therefore on a system without a font folder containing the font-awesome fonts, first a build has to be done without the customised config.
