AutocompleteAjaxComponent missing bindings in rendered page

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. See attached quickstart

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect getValues() method to be invoked on every keypress (with the default 
300ms delay)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.0.0, Mac OS X, JDK 1.7

help us fixing the problem quickly! Please provide any additional
information below.

While the jquery imports are present in the page, the bindings of the various 
functions are not present (no wiquery-gen-nnnnnn script)

The issue was either
-not reproducable
-there is a newer version available
-reported in a version which is no longer supported

if the issue is still present in the latest version (6.9+) then please reopen 
the issue with the required information to reproduce the issue.
