genesis solo staker missing (1000 validators) #40

Open sullendef opened 6 months ago

sullendef commented 6 months ago

I have set up a very large number of validators (1000) pre genesis. I am not a pool nor a Cex. I am validating with my own computer, at home. Can you please fix this ? Deposit address : 0x631c2D8d0d7A80824E602a79800a98D93E909a9E

sullendef commented 6 months ago

This is even worse than what I thought. Apparently my validators have been mistaken for a CEX, I'm pretty sure it's Kraken. Please don't give to Kraken what should belong to me.

When I put the withdrawal address in https://provisions.starknet.io/, I have this message :

"The Starknet Foundation is in touch with your organization.

If you are here, it means you have been labelled by Rated Network as a node operator, staking pool provider, or a centralized exchange staker. As such, you are eligible to receive more than one million STRK, to be distributed further to your individual stakers. The Starknet Foundation will be in touch with someone from your organization."

But I am not in touch with the Starknet Foundation. (well, I will send an email, but I haven't yet)

having your validator set being mistaken for a CEX is an insane flex

EvilJordan commented 6 months ago

What if we're not even on the list, but should be?

InfinityChris commented 6 months ago

to be or not to be, 1000 validators and still farming the stark airdrop

MilkshakeMike commented 6 months ago

Will this count as a contribution for the next Stark airdrop?

3LivesLeft commented 6 months ago

I find it hard to believe a solo staker is running 1,000 validators from home. That would make you worth over $100 Million by now. šŸ¤”

ethhA commented 6 months ago

not taking advantage of this, but Iā€™d be extremely grateful if you could send literally any amount to my address! šŸ™

Same here, since today !

The Starknet Foundation is in touch with your organization.

If you are here, it means you have been labelled by Rated Network as a node operator, staking pool provider, or a centralized exchange staker. As such, you are eligible to receive more than one million STRK, to be distributed further to your individual stakers. The Starknet Foundation will be in touch with someone from your organization.

ariskk commented 6 months ago

@sullendef and others with this issue: this message is quite generic and covers pools, centralised exchanges, node operators of various kinds as well as large operations (aka "whales") that act independently.
If you haven't been contacted yet by the foundation, please do reach out to them. There is chance that they simply don't have a way to contact you if you are not affiliated with any known entity. If that's the case, assuming you can prove ownership of the addresses they should be able to sort it out.

akarub commented 6 months ago

@ariskk I only have one validator with the deposit address 0x642458957C6F027fc1fea5B99928df23Fe46272E (I still haven't set up my withdrawal address). I appear on your solo stakers list, yet I'm also getting that "organization" message when I try to claim. StarkNet discord has been completely useless for help.
