Allow configuring keyboard extension keys

I usually type * a lot, but it is not on the keyboard extension. If I can add it on the keyboard extension, it will be very useful.

Thanks for reporting @kwangkim — this is not possible at the moment I'm afraid, but is certainly on the roadmap. I'll update the issue title to reflect it's a feature request.
