Yep, precisely that.
I am working on this. I do not want to cause a proliferation of output options. I intend to replace the current output.gain_dir
option with an output.directory
option. All QuartiCal outputs will live in the directory with the gains living in in a gains.qc
subfolder. Are there any cases where users will need absolute control over the gain folder name?
Please add an --clobber option to do / do not overwrite this output folder.

This has been added with an output.overwrite
option as requested @bennahugo. Closing @o-smirnov but feel free to reopen if it doesn't meet your requirements.
I assume that the goal would be to corral things like the gains, dask report and log into a single folder?
