I noticed that in the current chart plotter, the little "offset" label is not above the slider, but rather directly over the slider.

I suspect it's something as simple as forgetting to add the widget to a
QVBoxLayout, but I'm not familiar enough with the code to fix it myself.

Indeed that was the problem. Fixed in rev 8397
