At present a rotation at about lines 94 through 100 is used to rotate beam values from the local theta/phi axis to a standard Stokes X,Y system. If the beam values have been pre-rotated to the standard system, we need to bypass this operation. Can an option be provided in EMSSVoltageBeam.py and emss2fits.py (and any other scripts which call EMSSVoltageBeam.py) do do this bypass?

OK, but let's put this off until we've had our discussion with Tobia, as at the moment our coordinate systems are a little bit confusing, at least to me. Once we've cleared it all up, we can provide a consistent set of options for specifying polarization components.
