Discussion: longevity of the map reuse #560

Hello, just see if anyone have experience with the longevity of the map reuse once the map is captured. For example, under different lighting condition and new objects are added to the scene. In addition, is there any suggestions on how to capture a map that mostly likely could be reuse for a long period of time?

My experience is that the longevity of the map is poor and I have not been successful in refreshing it robustly. I'd be willing to try again, but at the moment I'm busy with a lidar...
