Cantata does not list all tracks #661

This is with Cantata 1.5.2 on Arch Linux (x86_64) connecting to an mpd 0.19.9
server, also on Arch (ARM)

There are always some artists missing from the «Artists»-view. Rebuilding the
mpd database does not help, nor does clearing Cantata's cache. Other MPD
clients list the tracks properly, and if I use the on-server search function in
Cantata it displays the tracks that are missing.

It's a rather large collection (18000+ tracks).

I can provide debug logfiles if you specify what would be useful (I do have a
CANTATA_DEBUG=3 logfile, but I'd rather e-mail that than share it publicly if
possible, since it contains data about the collection).

Which tracks do you think are missing? Do the files for these tracks have
correct tags?

In ~/.cache/cantata/library/ you should find an xml.gz file that contains a
cached copy of MPD's database. You can look at this file with 'vim' or 'gedit'
(they will automatically uncompress) - either that or uncompress with 'gunzip'
before editing. Anyway, please look in this file - does it contain the missing
tracks?

Pleasw feel free to email the log file.
