You can always manually override this in the meantime (awaiting further guidance from the developer(s) )...
Go into...
about:config
... add the following new string...
general.useragent.override.web.skype.com
... and enter one of the following value (NOTE: These are not Android UA Values)...
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; rv:67.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0
OR
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3790.0 Safari/537.36
... Restart Browser and it should be working.
I've got a feeling that it should work but, I can't confirm this at this moment.
I hope it helps... :-)
Good Luck!

Thanks ibuprophen1! (in case anyone else is looking to replicate, the issue being Firefox is an unsupported browser for web.skype.com)
In FF
about:config
... add the following new string (right click New > string)
general.useragent.override.web.skype.com
... and enter the following value (this one worked for me) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/76.0.3790.0 Safari/537.36
@Woolwit, I just updated my last post for clarity and added the UA you used.
All is kewl! :-)

This is already the default behavior... please close
Thanks for an awesome Addon! I have a url listed in white-list mode. I use the Window option to set its UA. All good (web.skype.com on Mac/Firefox 68.0.1)! It's not that big a deal, but when I relaunch Firefox, while the tab/URL is persistent, the UA is not and has to be reset. Is that expected behavior, or is there a simple workaround to ensure the tab loads with the custom UA when relaunching FF?
