[doc] Design for a chip/badge for Community Examples #44160

Open angelinalg opened 6 months ago

angelinalg commented 6 months ago

Description

The example pages under each library may contain examples contributed by the Ray Community. We want to demarcate them clearly so that readers understand they are not maintained by the Ray Team.

For example, on the serve/examples.html page, the Gaudi example is a Community example: Serve a model on Intel Habana Gaudi

Originally, we thought of putting Community examples in a separate section, but that would not be a great user experience, because readers would have to decide up front whether to look at Ray Team maintained or Community examples, something they likely don't care about at first.

See this PR for some context: https://github.com/ray-project/ray/pull/43895#issuecomment-1998092010 cc: @peytondmurray
