Which Minimalist Gmail option is causing the problem?
1.6.2

What is the problem? Describe completely:
The option Chat > Hide Offline contacts is not working. Offline contacts are 
still appearing.

Does the issue persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0  ?
Yes, it persists.

Chrome version         - Chromium 10.0.650.0 (72618) + Chrome 8.0.552.237
Chrome update channel  -
Operating System       - Windows 7 x64
