Chat Search Drop-Down List Corrupted #48

Which Minimalist Gmail option is causing the problem?

What is the problem? Describe completely:
When extension is on the chat search window dropdown does not function .... 
pops up for a second then disappears.

Does the issue persist when loading Gmail with this link:  YES IT DOES
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

Chrome version         -9.0.597.83 beta
Chrome update channel  -
Operating System       -OSX 10.6.6
Language               -English
Google apps user?      -No
Other Gmail extensions -None

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

Do you have the "Show checkbox tools list" option selected?

No but I just discovered that if I uncheck "Hide Offline" in Chat options,
the problem with the dropdown search list goes away.

hmm, I can't replicate the issue on any of my computers but I've reworked a lot 
of the Hide Offline code in 1.6.3 so hopefully that will fix it. I'll push the 
update tonight so force an update tomorrow morning and try again

OK Great! Note the dropdown shows for a second or so and then a black line
projects a few inches out from the searchbox, then the list disappears.

Just pushed 1.6.3, can you verify whether or not the update has affected your 
issue at all?
