High CPU utilization #64

Which Minimalist Gmail option is causing the problem? Not sure at this time.

What is the problem? Describe completely: Approximately 48-51% CPU utilization
on a Windows 7 notebook and a Windows XP netbook. Same result using Chrome or
ChromePlus on both computers.

Does the issue persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments: No, while Chrome does occasionally spike CPU utilization it does
not stay at thios level like it does with lab options running.

ChromePlus 1.5.2.0

Chrome version - 9.0.576.00
Chrome update channel - Dev
Operating System - Windows 7 / Windows XP Pro
Language - English
Google apps user? - Yes
Other Gmail extensions - Yes, but same results with all of them uninstalled

Please provide any additional information below and attach screenshots if
possible.

Having the same problem. Persists without labs enabled and when other
extensions are disabled.

Does it make a difference if Hide Nav and Custom Nav Width are turned off?

More performance improvements coming tonight

about an hour ago I upgraded to the version you referenced and the high CPU
utilization issue appears to have been solved! Thanks for all of your work and
creating my favorite Chrome extension.
