Rapportive add-on conflicts with 'hide sidebar ads' option

Which Minimalist Gmail option is causing the problem?
Main > Ads > hide sidebar ads

What is the problem? Describe completely:
If the rapportive add-on is enabled and 'hide sidebar ads' is checked, 
rapportive CSS appears to be disabled (although the text is still visible) and 
the message div overlaps the rapportive content.

Does the issue persist when loading Gmail with this link:
https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?labs=0 if not, list your enabled labs
experiments:

If you are a Rapportive user you don't need to enabled my Hide Sidebar Ads 
option, that addon does all the same things
