Currently, the iLovePDF Raycast extension requires users to open a dialog and manually select files. This process could be streamlined by enabling users to select PDF files directly in Finder, similar to how other file management raycast extensions work.
Proposed Improvement:
Select multiple PDF files directly in Finder.
Open Raycast by command + space.
Perform ILovePDF extension actions on the selected files without needing to reselect them within the extension.
Who will benefit from this feature?
This would make the extension more intuitive, faster, and easier to use. Extensions like PDF Tools and TinyPNG already support this behavior, allowing for a more seamless workflow as Users who handle multiple PDF files regularly and seek a more efficient and inituitive way to manage them using Raycast.
Anything else?
Implementing this feature will improve accessibility and speed up the file processing workflow within Raycast, making it consistent with other file management extensions.
When I have time, I'll try to implement this feature...
