Smarthings changed the Sonos integration to use their newer API and any speaker that i configure to use the new DH, is unable to work with BigTalker I left one speaker on the old DH and it continues to work

I don't think its a good idea to change the DTH to the old Sonos DTH. Sonos is likely to retire/change this. Can BigTalker be updated to use the new DTH 'LAN Sonos Websocket'?
