problem with side menu buttons #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clicking on side (menu) buttons to show popups
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
     For the menus to open displaying shortcuts inside. 

     What happens is if you have been going through multiple screens and try to open the 
menu, it will sometimes "stutter" on display or more often "reset" panda home.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
      .98

Please provide any additional information below.
     the menu works fine at first but after use it causes instability. Seems like a memory issue 
or drawing issue.

Just downloaded .99

This issue is a bit different.
When pressing the side menu buttons after flipping through a few screens it 
does not
cause a restart, but it kinda of stutters. Like it will show part of the menu, 
flash
a bit, then display the menu. Same thing when closing the menu.

Also When long pressing on free space on one of the home screens, after flipping
threw a few screens and opening and closing the side menu, it will restart 
Panda.

I deleted my log file then reproduced both the stutter, and the restart in this 
log file.

In the .998 beta this still occurs for me but only with the left panel. No 
issues
with the right. So far it has happened with the middle and bottom slider 
buttons. I
have not tried the top. I don't have a log yet but the next time it happens 
I'll be
sure to capture it.

I have reproduced this problem on pandahome 1.71. I have a log file to share if 
you reopen 
this defect report. Right now it will not let me attach new files. Thanks for 
all of your hard 
work!
