Picture Slideshow as Screensaver

A picture playlist (of JPG, GIF, BMP. etc. imahes) played in a slideshow as a screensaver (when set idle time is reached it is activated), this picture playlist should be created as in FR 778852. One should be able to select a music playlist to be played together with this picture screensaver. The picture should have repeat on by default (if one selects to disable repeat then the Xbox should shut off when the playlist finish) and a randomize option available: ex.

New section ("Screen Savers"?) under "Settings" in GUI:

Black Screen Screen Saver: Enable/Disable Picture/Video Screen Saver: Enable/Disable Options for Picture/Video/Music screen saver: Picture playlist to display on idle: Up/Down (here on can browse existing playlists) Music playlist to play on idle (if any): Up/Down (here on can browse existing playlists) Video playlist to display on idle: Up/Down (here on can browse existing playlists) Audio visualization when Music playlist only: Enable/Disable Showdown on finish (otherwise repeat): Enable/Disable Randomize/Scramble Picture playlist: Enable/Disable Randomize/Scramble Music playlist: Enable/Disable Randomize/Scramble Video playlist: Enable/Disable

(of course different options will be grayed out above depending on what one select)

Note! For this all to work in a good way one would probeby have to code XBMC to save playlists from "My Videos", "My Music" and "My Pictures" in separate locations (set in config.xml).

how about doing like mypictures does in windows and making it display all pictures in a folder randomly, rather than having a pictures playlist?

@Geminiserver, since you added a picture-slideshow screensaver from a folder like jrtf83 suggested would you mind looking at my original request for 'playlist' picture-slideshow screensaver too?, maybe even with a open to select an accomponing music play list to play at the same time?

If you're not interested then please just unassign yourself from it.

PS! Again for this to work in a good way one would probeby first have to code XBMC to save playlists from 'My Videos', 'My Music' and 'My Pictures' in separate locations (and make those three different location-path configurable in XboxMediaCenter.xml).

'My Videos' and 'My Music' playlists are now saved in different location so now all that is mixing is a separate location for the 'My Pictures' playlists as well ;-)

Virtual-Directory is needed too for use in bookmarks: $PICTUREPLAYLISTS

(to match $MUSICPLAYLISTS and $VIDEOPLAYLISTS ones)
