Auto build thumbs from MP3s with PC format cover art
All the suggestions to retrieve ID3 tags including cover
art from allmusic.com/CDDB etc are ok, but lots of
people have already done this for their music collections
on the PC - tools like Tag&Rename from softpointer.com
are probably always going to be quicker/easier than
doing it on the XBOX.
For those of us with several hundred albums already
catalogued, including cover art, it would be really useful
if XBMC could be configured to fetch the cover art (from
either configurablename.jpg in the album folder, or from
the ID3 tag in the first track say), resize it to required
thumbnail size, and save it locally in the defined thumbs
directory.
It would also be neat if it could use an understandable
name for the dynamically generated thumbs, as the
current thumbnail cache is a little difficult to manually
update if you want to delete an autogenerated
thumbnail.

looking for a build-in feature similar to this Java script: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mp3imagetagextr/ But it needs to be coded in C or C++
