Built a physical tray model in the Makerspace last Friday-Saturday. Rough Dimensions: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N6l9k_22CLOD--GHZxhh1ciweFe51C4m/view?usp=sharing Friday: Laser cut the pieces and glued two 1/8 thick wood pieces together to increase the durability of the tray Saturday: Waited until the wood glue set and nailed the wood pieces together using screws and wood glue

The slot in the tray is for the nfc read Tray-a-way Prototype er which will be covered in vinyl to hide.

Ben soldered the LED and buzzer onto a separate PCB board for easy assembly. Ben also soldered the wires for the load cells.

Ben and I drilled a hole for the LED to pop out of the tray and a hole for the USB power outlet for the pi so that we can plug it in from outside of the tray (all the electrical components are hidden under the false bottom).
