DanS suggests that the Help Desk submit a Jira ticket for further review of this issue. (Note by MikeO: Might be related to an older issue - Jira 1236?)

We have a client (#14599) that is concerned about the number of open connections that are being sustained when using SFTP connections. They have 4 channels that use sftp source connectors. Two of the connections poll once per day and the other two poll every half hour. Their screen shot shows 24 connections involved. Using the appliance Console function we saw 32 sftp connections open on Thursday and the same 32 sftp connections open on Monday. (Connection status for each channel = Idle)

I'm sure that some of the connections are needed for picking up the files and other connections for the Move-To Directory function and proably a 3rd needed for the Error Move-To Directory

But why do they have so many? How many connections are needed per channel and how long are they sustained by the mirth source connector.

Not sure if this still is, or ever was a problem. It's been a long time with no activity here.
