Support of bus system FlexRay #25

It would be great to support the FlexRay bus system beside CAN.

According to the latest discussions, the

Following features are planned for v2.0.0 for FlexRay:

  1. Tx Window
  2. Message Window
  3. DIL (Hardware selection – ETAS ES520)
  4. Transmission and Reception
  5. Project configuration
  6. Conversion of imported Fibex file to hardware specific configuration file

Following features will be available in the next versions:

  1. Logging
  2. Filters
  3. Node Simulation
  4. Network statistics
  5. Fibex File editor

Following features/functionality are not supported yet:

  1. Key slot configuration for sending Startup and Sync frames to start the network
  2. FlexRay devices expects a configuration file created from the Fibex file. (ES520 expects .ini file)

Following DIL must be implemented:

  1. ETAS BOA support
  2. Vector XL support

When v2.0.0 is releases, this issue will be closed and the features postponed will be shifted into new issues requesting these features.

  1. Signal watch
  2. Signal graph
  3. Replay
  4. Wave form messages
  5. Format Converter (CAPL to CPP)
  6. Format Converter (DBC to FIBEX)
